NOISE LEVEL MEASUREMENTS
Noise is one of the most significant environmental factors causing adverse health effects worldwide, and all people are subjected to it to some degree. Noise level measurements can be done when there is a need to analyze different kind of noise levels at workplaces, in a residential or office buildings, the level of environmental noise or the noise of specific work phases.
Noisy work environments are typically found in manufacturing and production industries and in traffic, but noise levels can be disturbing also in other ordinary work environments, where noise can come from e.g. ventilation or other technical systems.
Environmental noise levels are typically measured to investigate the effects of a noisy activity (crushing, rail traffic, air traffic, shooting ranges etc.) on its surrounding area. In residential or office buildings, indoor noise levels are typically measured to verify and investigate noises caused by e.g. heating or ventilation systems.
Our experts always use a calibrated Class 1 sound level meter.
